Sirmon / Bennett Family Connection 1800s" Help

I need to speak with someone with knowledge of the Bennett / Sirmon family in reference to the 1800s in northern Ga. Looking for a Compton connetction on the Bennett side. Henry M. Compton and Frances Compton. I have found a tree on Rootsweb and it has them listed. Thanks

Hi! I think - but I have so far been unable to prove it - that Nathan Sirmon was the father of my third great grandfather, James S. (possibly Simpson) Sirmon, who was born in 1827 or 1828 in Alabama, moved to Louisiana and was living there in the 1850s, 1860s, and 1870s. His daughter, Ella Lucretia, married by great great grandfather, J.R. Palmero, Sr. and moved to Texas.

To make a long story short, I'd like to know more about this book you mentioned in your message. Perhaps you could tell me where I can get a copy? Thanks!

I am looking for relatives and ancestors of Lucretia Jane Sirmon. She was my daughter's G. G. G. Grandmother. Born in Georgia 1836 & died in Snyder, TX. She was married twice.
1. with Silas Garrett and 2. with xx Grantham.

Have you seen the book :The Anscestry and Known Descendants of Nathan Sirmon" compiled by William A. Sirmon, 1304 Velma Ave, Hattiesburg, MS 39402? He is my third great grandfather. How do you fit into the family.

Need information on Joseph Sirmon and wife Armecia, of Pitt County( formerly Beaufort County) NC. There were three sons, Bryant b. 1805, Noah and Benjamain (Benja) . Unsure of any other children.

Bryant moved to Georgia , unsure of county or date. He met and married Elizabeth Sarah Kelly. They moved to Louisiana where their children were born. They are elizabeth b. 1842, Georgia Ann Melvina b.1845, Lewis b. 1847, George Washington b. 1851, Matilda Ann b. 1853, Jane b. 1855 and Miranda Catherine b. 1858. Elizabeth Sarah died in childbirth or shortly thereafter. Bryant beings four children and moves to Stratton community, DeWitt County, TX
Bryant married Harriet Calistine Welsh in the mid 1860's.
There are land deeds in their name in 1880 Hayes county. They signed documents as husband & wife in 1883 , still residing in Hayes county...I don't find them on any Census. Need help in going further with this family. They are my Great Aunt and Uncle.

I'm looking for information about my great grandparents and earlier ancestors.
My grandfather was William Arthur Sirmon born October 13 1891 and my grandmother was the former Sally Ruth Connelly born October 1897. They had three children William Arthur Jr., George Cornwall, and Lenore.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
