Hello, I am kind of new at this and was doing some research on my grandmother's side of the family. Her name was Bessie A. Six married to Elmer Atchison. Her father was Martin Uriah Six and her mother was Josephine Drake. We had been told that we had quite a bit of Indian blood in the family and one of my Aunts said that my grandmother had told her that she was born somewhere in the Choctaw Nation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
