Hello!
I am also a decendent of a Skaaner.
My great grandfather was Ole Andreas Antonsen Skaaner, born in Levanger on March 27, 1877 and died in Sitka, Alaska, USA on July 30, 1970. I am only 23 years old and never had the chance to meet him.
My mother and I are currently researching my ancestry. This family is from my fathers side.
