The Skeels or Skells family have lived in wisbech st mary England from at least 1800 until today. They were probably there long before 1800. Two men buried in the chapel of ease graveyard at nearby Guyhirn were given the middle name Tegerdine, which is my surname. There are other gravestone names in wisbech st marys churchyard with at least two with the unusual name of Valentine Bell Skeels. Does anyone know the connection Skeels/Tegerdine?
