I would like to know names of the parents of Roy Skeels. He was born 31 Aug 1899, probably in Iroquois co., Illinois. I cannot locate him on the 1900 census. In 1910 (Arkansas)and 1920 (Kansas) he was living with Frank and Amy (Webb) McNeal, listed as their nephew. Roy's WW I Draft Registration (Kansas, 12 Sept. 1918) lists Amy as his aunt. Roy married Nellie Pearl Riggs (1899-1960) on 03 March 1922. They had a son Frank Gerald Skeels, B. 1933, D. 1981. Frank married a Miss Showalter and had 1 son and 1 daughter. Frank and Amy had no children of their own..did they "adopt" an unwanted child of one of Amy's sisters? Or ???
