It's a long time since you left your message but I only saw it today, so I hope you are still online sometimes.

I live in Australia and am descended from Charles Blake Skerrett who was born in co. Galway in 1816 and transported to Australia as a convict in 1836. He had a large family out here and there are now a whole tribe of us who look back to our Irish heritage.

I would be very interested to hear from you and to share what we know of our (probably) common Irish ancestors.
