Douglas and Beal appear to be brothers, Rosa may be the daughter of either, or probably Beal SKINNER. All were born in VA, probably Fredericksburg, where it appears that Rosa L b. ~1868 married Allen Burton CHAPMAN b. 1864-5 of Ohio.
Their first of 3 sons was born there, then they moved to Canton OH mid-1880s. Douglas and Beal seem to have been carpenters and contractors, and in a few years had their own business, SKINNER & Brother, planing and lumber mill. Beal is buried in Canton OH with other SKINNER family members including Rosa.

I'm wondering what the heck took my grandfather A B CHAPMAN to VA in the 1880s among other things, like who the SKINNER family was.
