My ggrandmother was Laura T. Handley. Her mother was
Mary A. Slatton Handley and father was Francis Marion Handley.

In the l870 Census of Fayette Co. , Ga. on page 72, roll 149 the listing is:

Laura T. 14 (my ggrandmother)

Morgan J. (M) 8
My grandmother, Laura, married S.E. Strickland in l875 in Fayette Co.
