This family has Definately been a confusing one to research!

I am Trying to find information John Slaven, born about 1835 in Tennessee,(possibly Scott County, Tennessee) and died 23 January 1882 in Wayne County, Kentucky.

He married Elizabeth Roberts, born in Wayne County, Kentucky on 12 January 1835 and died in Wayne County, Kentucky on 29 July 1914, she was a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Owens Roberts.

Known children of this marriage are -

3. William Harve "Harvey" Slaven - abt. 1865 - 1915, married Alice Burk (A.K.A. Alice Corder??) (further info needed)
4. Nimrod Millard Slaven - abt. 1867 (further info needed)
5. Minerva Slaven - abt. 1869 (further info needed)
6. Isadora A. Slaven - 1873 - 1922, married 'unknown' Tucker (further info needed)
7. Elisha E. Slaven - 1874 - 1953, married Rachel Perkins.
8. Rosa L. Slaven - abt. 1878 (further info needed)

Most Importantly, I need to know WHO the parents of this John Slaven are.
