I am looking for proof that Ulrich Slife was the son of John Slife who died in Fairfield Co. OH on 11 Sep 1834. I have copies of church records from that county which have Slife information but can't tie Ulrich in for sure. My ancestor was Daniel Slife son of Ulrich. Daniel moved to Iowa from Ohio before the Civil War. If you have information, please send me an e-mail as well as posting a reply. Many thanks.
