Mary Elizabeth Sliger Brown b. 10 Oct 1870 in TN dau of Mr. Mrs. W.J. Sliger a pinoeer couple in TN. She came to TX with her parents in 1880 locating in Milam Co. TX. They later relocated to Bell Co. TX where Mary Elizabeth married Marion Brown 5 June 1892. Mary and Marion Brown moved to the Shep area in Taylor Co. TX. They are both buried there. In the obit for Mary Elizabeth the following siblings were mentioned: Brothers- S.S. Sliger of Brownwood, J.L. Sliger of Blackwell, A.D. Sliger of Anaheim, CA, C.Mack Sliger of Blackwell, and H.C. Sliger of Anaheim, CA.
Sisters: Mrs. C.F. Couch of Brady and Mrs. Martin Huff of Alburqueque,NM.
