one of the Appraisers of the within inventory being duly affirmed according to law did declare
and say that the Goods, Chattles and Credits in the said Inventory set down and specified were by him
appraised according to their true respective rates and values, after the best of his judgment and understanding;
and that GEORGE R. DAUGHTER the other Appraiser, whose name is thereunto subscribed, was present at the same time, and consented in all things to the doing thereof; and that they appraised all things brought to their view for appraisement.

I, PETER SLIM of the township of Chester in the County of Burlington and the State of New Jersey being of sound disposing mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of this life do therefore make and ordain this my last will and testament in writing this Fourteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundreed and sixty one (1861)
ITEM - I order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my
decease.
ITEM - I give and devise and bequeath all my Real Estate wherever situate to be equally divided among my six children viz HANNAH, RACHEL, PETER H., BEULAH ANN, THOMAS L. and REBECCA SLIM, share and share alike. My daughter CHRISTIANNA PERKINS has been amply provided for and had her full share of my estate and therefore I have not included her among my other children as legatees.
ITEM - I give and bequeath to ESTHER GORHAM (my second wife's oldest daughter) two hundred dollars.
ITEM - I give and bequeath to the two children of my daughter CHRISTIANNA PERKINS viz. HENRY C. and ELIZABETH PERKINS each fifty dollars, to be put on interest by my Executor, herein - after named and the amount to be paid to the boy when he shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years and to the girl when she arrives at the age of eighteen years, if either said children should not live to the age above specified, then my will is that the survivor shall take both shares, and if neither of them should arrive at the age named the whole to go to their mother CHRISTAINNA if living; otherwise to be divided equally among the other legatees above named share and share alike.
ITEM - I give and bequeath one share of Stock in the Delaware Avenue Market Company Philadelphia to each of my sons PETER H. and THOMAS L. SLIM and my son in law JOHN PERKINS.
ITEM - I give and bequeath all my wearing apparrel to my son THOMAS L. SLIM.
ITEM - All the residue and remainder of my personal estate if any I direct to be equally divided among the six children named as legatees to my Real Estate share and share alike.
ITEM - I do appoint my son PETER H. SLIM Executor of this my last will and testament.
Signed, Sealed, Published and Declared by the said PETER SLIM to be his last will, in the presence of us, who were present at the same time and subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator.

and say that he saw PETER SLIM the testator therein named, sign, and seal the same, and heard him publish, pronounce and declare the within writing to be his last Will and Testament, and, that at the time of the disposing thereof the said testator was of sound and disposing mind, memory and undestanding, so far as he knows, and as he verily believes , and that

of the within namned PETER SLIM, deceased, being duly sworn according to law (?) depose and say that within the writing contains the true last Will and Testament of PETER SLIM therein named, deceased, so far as he knows, and he verily believes, that he will well and truly perform the same, by paying first the debts of the said deceased and then the legacies in the said Testament specified, so far as the Goods, Chattles and Credits of the said deceased can thereunto extend; and that he will make and exhibit into the Surrogate's Ofice of the County of Burlington, at or before the experation of six calendar months, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods and Chattles, Rights and Credits of the said deceased, that have , or shall, come to his knowledge or possession, or to the possession of any person or persons, for his use; and render a just and true account when thereunto lawfully required.
