I am looking for any information on John Monroe Sloan
I know that he was in Alabama in 1826 because
his son, John Monroe Sloan, Jr. was born there.
I also know that he was married to Sarah Smith.
He is my ggg-grandfather, and his son came to
Grayson County, Texas sometime before 1867.
Any information would be helpful.
