      <title>Smick family of Maryland</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.smick/19/mb.ashx</link>
<description>I am searching for information on family of Susan Smick b. abt 1843, married to Charles Macneal (McNeal). Her father was Phillip Smick b. abt 1812 in Maryland m. to Sarah Swan b. abt 1822. They were married in Harrison Cty, Ohio in 1849. Which means they either had 2 or 3 children before marriage and 4 after marriage or he was married to someone else first. Their other children are William b. abt 1845, Georgetta b. abt 1853, Andrew b. abt 1855, James b. abt 1858 and Charles b. abt 1861. According to the 1860 census the whole family was born in Maryland. Also Charles and Andrew were living in the Smick household yet does not list Susan as a McNeal, but as a Smick?! Can anyone help with any information on this family? Thank you!</description>
