Once I was joking that everyone in Jackson-Denmark-Brownsville, Tn was somewhat related was part of the reason I left home and married someone from Va so that I would be sure that I would not end up with a distant relative and I was told that that doesn't mean anything. Then things was said that the Smiths first was on the east coast like in Va. and/or S.C. but noone can give definate information only speculation.
