Was wondering if anyone could offer advice to me? I am trying to find the first marriage of Edward Smith whose son was the Captain of Titanic, Edward John Smith. The Captain was from a second marriage but I'm interested in the first marriage and children of it. I know of one child, Elizabeth, who was born about 1828 but have no idea who her mother was. Elizabeth was born in England and died in Canada. Any help, advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
