I am not related to this family..
Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County)
June 12, 1922
MONNIER-KORTZ--In Cheyenne, Thursday, June 8, 1922, Mr. James Monnier and Mrs. Freda Smith Kortz.
This wedding came as quite a surprise to the friends of the bride and was not supposed to be known until the honeymoon was over.
Mr. and Mrs. Monnier will visit here part of the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Smith, possibly spending some time in the mountains, after which they will return to Cheyenne where Mr. Monnier has prepared a loveley home for his bride.

Freda was married before:..here is that wedding announcement

Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County)
Mar 12, 1909
KORTZ-SMITH--In Boulder, Sunday morning, March 7, 1909, Bruce Kortz of Fort Collins and Miss Freda Smith of Longmont.
The immediate relatives of the bride and groom assembled at the Methodist parsonage at Boulder to witness the ceremony that united these two young people for life.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Smith of Longmont, well known in society as an attractive young lady. She has grown up in Longmont. The groom is a stranger to Longmont, but better known in Fort Collins and Boulder as an electrician.
Mr. and Mrs. Kortz left for Denver for a trip and they will soon go to Cheyenne where they will make their home.

I do not know what happened to Bruce...died or maybe divorce.
