My great-grandfather Patrick Smyth b. 1850 in Portadown, Ireland was the son of Patrick Smyth (a linen weaver) & possibly Mary Johnston. My gg grandfather Patrick (a tailor) moved to Leeds, England in 1870. His brother Daniel, b. abt 1845, moved to the USA, believed Connecticut, after serving in the Merchant Navy. They may also have had 2 brothers, James b. 1853 & Michael b. 1857. Grateful for any info re any of the family.
