Dear Anthony,

Wow! At last a UK Snagg. We are so happy to receive your responce. Thanks for your reply.

Briefly - In the late 1700's at least two Snaggs (William and George) left England for the West Indies to begin life as Planter(s) on land granted to William by the King. This land was located on the tiny Grenadine island of Canouan. William had two known children - James Frederick and William Jr.. James remained and had many children but William went to Guyana (via England?) where he became Chief Justice - Sir William Snagg. Nothing is presently known of the original George.

Are you still interested? Can you still help us?

Thanks, Mark Netana
