Looking for information or links to the Snaith family of Darlington. Most of this information is from the Parish Records of St Cuthbert's Church. The family is quite large, so I will limit this post to my direct line.

So far I found that Ralph Snaith (a labourer from Blackwell) had two children - Thomas (bn 1712) & William (bn 1715).

William had seven children -

William (bn abt 1741 - ???);
Ruth (bn 1741 - ???);
Margaret (bn 1743 - dd 1749);
Thomas (bn 1746 - dd 1800);
Robert (bn 1748 - dd 1769)
Elizabeth (bn 1750 - dd 1772)
Frank (bn 1752 - ???).

William married Ann and had eight children -

John (bn 1764 - dd 1824);
William (bn 1765 - ???);
Thomas (bn 1771 - ???);
Francis (bn 1773 - ???);
Robert (bn 1776 - ???);
Parkin (bn 1779 - dd 1825);
Ruth (bn 1783 - ???);
Elizabeth (bn 1787 - ???).

Parkin married Jemima Carter of Ferryhill, Merrington, Durham. They had seven children -

William (bn 1805 - ???);
Elizabeth (bn 1807 - ???);
Parkin (bn 1810 - dd 1812);
Parkin (bn 1813 - ???);
Jemima (bn 1816 - dd 1884);
Ann (bn 1819 - ???)
Mary (bn 1822 - ???).

I have traced a number of branches, so if you have a Snaith link to Darlington, then please get in touch.
