I am related to William Snaith (born c.1820) who married Elizabeth Vart at St Cuthbert, Etherley in 1859. I know his father was also a William Snaith (born c. 1792 in Evenwood). William senior was the landlord of the Dog & Gun at Etherley at some point.
I'd be keen to here from anyone who can help track down this line, my interest so far has been thE Vart family so only recent interest in the Snaiths.
