Looking for the best known information on the birth and death dates of Richard Snead/Sneed. Some information has him being born in Hanover County, others in Albemarle County. I believe his birth year should be in the 1795 to 1800 range because he and his wife Lucinda Beeks got married on December 30, 1821. My Sister and I have found a Lucinda Snead buried in the Lebanon Church Cemetery west of Crozet. Her headstone says she died June 18, 1880. There is a headstone next to her that reads "Willie O Snead" with the date of July 18, 1880. We don't know if this is Richard with a nickname or not. Richards son named John has a son named William O Snead, but he died January 20, 1881 of typhoid fever. Thanks for any response.
