I have been attempting to try and research my grandfather/parents for many years now. I have hit a brick wall.
My Grandfather that I am interested in is, John Snead/Sneed b. Aug 1846 married to Elsie/Elizabeth Patrick b. Oct 1850 married 1875.
I believe he was originally born in South Carolina (based on the 1900 census). However, some of the family history states that he or his family might have migrated from NY possibly. I would like to find out more, but Its been very hard to find more information. Hopefully I can meet someone who has this person in their tree or any information at all would be Great!
