I am not descended through this Sneed family but during my research have found this information in regards to Sebron Graham Sneed born Jan 15, 1802 Green Co. Ky, died April 19,1879 Comal Bluff,Texas. Married Miranda Adkins born Feb 17,1807 in Tennesee, died Aug 22, 1878 Austin, Texas. Date of marriage: Jan 22, 1824 in Clay Co,MO.
Sebron was son of a John Sneed born 1771 Virginia died in Clay Co,Mo. and Mecca Isabell Graham born 1780 NC and died 1840 in Newton Co,Mo. they married in Sept 8,1798 in Green Co, Ky. John was the son of Major Thomas Sneed born 1750 in Jamestown,Va. He married a Catherine born unknown in VA. This was submitted to the SAR by a William Jasper Sneed son of Seborn Travis Sneed b.Mar 7,1875 Travis Co, TX and Sarah Hornsby born Sept 23, 1879 Travis Co. TX. Both died in Shreveport,LA. Him on Mar 15, 1963 and her Dec 29,1975. SAR national number 119979.
