I am looking for information on parents of Joseph Snodgrass who was born in 1712. He married Hannah Vernon who was born 1717 in Goshen, Chester Co. PA. I think they had four children, one of whom was Rebecca Snodgrass. She married John Potts in Pennsylvania Jan 1, 1778. Later they lived in Botetourt County, VIrginia. Rebecca died there in 1782, and John Potts died soon thereafter, leaving thre or four minor children who had guardians appointed for them in the Botetourt CO Court. One of their children, Rebecca Potts, married Henry Minnick in 1798 and the lived all their married lives in Washington Co, VIrginia. Rebecca Potts and Henry Minnick are my fourth great grandparents. ANy information about them or her background very much appreciated.
