"SNOWDON, LEROY T. (Age 91)
A resident of Annapolis for 40 years, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 31, 2005. Mr. Snowdon was born November 8, 1914 in Portland, Maine. He was married for sixty years to Bunny Snowdon, who died in 2002. He was a member of the Maine State Bar Association. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II in North Africa. Mr. Snowdon spent his entire career with the American Petroleum Institue until his retirement in 1979. He was also judge of the Municipal Court in Hallowell, Maine. Mr. Snowdon had a lifelong involvement in freemasonry and was a 33rd Degree Mason (Scottish Rite), as well as a member of the A.A.O.N.M.S.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Charles D. and Kathleen K. Snowdon of Madison, Connecticut, and three grandchildren, Peter C. of Denver COO, Ashley L. of Cambridge, MA, and Nicholas T. of Madison.
A memorial service will be held in the spring on a date yet to be determined and burial will be private."
