I have very little information on my Sobczak side of my family and would really like to know more. My grandfathers name was Anthony Sobczak he was born May 17, 1909 and passed away August 5, 1968, because my father was so young when he passed we have very little information. My greatgrand parents were Adalbert Sobczak who was born in Poland, we have no birth or death date. My greatgrand mothers name was Petronella, we have no maiden name for her or birth or death date, all we know is that she was also born in Poland. My grandfather also had a brother named John and a sister named Lottie. We have nothing but a name on John and Lottie. When Adalbert and Petronella came to the states they settled in the Detroit area because we know my grandfather was born in Detroit. We also think that there may be a connection between Alpena, Michigan and my part of the Sobczak family because before my Grandfather passed away he owned property there.
