Does anyone know of Nicolena Sofia married to Domenico Cutri? I only know of their one son Guiseppe who was born in 1889. He settled in New Jersey but may have lived in New York or Pennsylvania when he first arrived, which was in 1904. He may have been born in San Procopio. Thanks for your help!! Gail

Rosina Sofia

I am looking for any information about Rosina Sofia, probably born in Italy around 1886 (I am guessing the year). She married Tony or Frank Romano, and they had at least four children, Tony, Theresa, Jules and Frank. They lived in Pennsylvania for a while (unsure how long), and moved to Seattle, Washington around 1907.

Rosina divorced her first husband and remarried. I don't know who she remarried and don't know how to find out more information about her. She would be my Great-Great Grandmother. Any information about her would be helpful.

I'M sure there is a connection - do you have any further info on these relatives, i.e., dates, children, any family members???
The Palladino name is spelled with one or 2 l's... they came from the town of Laurino, but usually said Salerno since it was the closest big city.
Thanks for anything you can add. If you are interested, I have family history going back quite a way on the Palladino's..not too much on Sofia's, they are harder to find.
p.s. in the town square of Laurino, there is a monument with many of the members of these families on it who are honored for wartime service.

I'm not sure where they ended up, but they started out in the Bronx, so Westchester is pretty close to there. Like I was saying, Theodore had 8 children. One of his son's was also named Theodore. That Theodore had 3 children: Lorrain; Allen; and Theodore. The Third Theodore had two children: Neil and Sharon. Allen had 2 children, Theodore and Lynn.
Who are some of your Sofia relatives?

I found an immigration record for Grazia Sofia; who was coming to stay with her brother Vincenzo (my great-grandfather). This was in 1902, and states her age as 55, and her place of residence as Laurino.
