I just came across you post, and I may have some information the could help you in your search.
My aunt Mary K. Muma was Jim Sokolik's brother. I knew him when he was in his teens and twenties. He was always in trouble with law and he spent most of his adult years in prison. I think he died in Jackson State Prison in Jackson Michigan. His mother died about 7 - 10 years ago. FYI...Helen Sokolik was my kindergarten teacher, in the Brown City School System.

Mary K. Muma, 70, long time resident of Melvin, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Marlette Hospice Residence.
She was born June 1, 1941 in Marlette, daughter to the late Nick and Helen (Sauker) Sokolik.
She attended Brown High School.
She married Jack C. Muma October 18, 1958 in Brown City.
Mary enjoyed crafts, painting, sewing, cooking, playing cards, gardening and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Jack, Michael Muma (son) of North Dakota, Cindy and Dave Chrzanowski (daughter) of Croswell, Sarah & John Gabbbard (sister) of Imlay City, grandchilden, Stacie, Jordan and Chad, great-grandson,Gregory.
Mrs. Muma is preceded in death by her parents, son Chris Muma and brother Jim Sokolik.
