There is still a Salladasburg in north central PA, west of Williamsport. It was named for the original owner of the land / Jacob Sallada. He came from Dauphin Countyy, PA; Lived in Nippenose Twnshp - had lots of kids and died in his town, Salladasburg. They were a very prominent family around Williamsport - my connection is through a daughter, so I can't tell you where they all are now. I have Jacob's children's names and spouses, but not much else. Lots of history from 1812 thru early 1900's.
