SOLTESZ Susan Jensco Soltesz, age 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2000, in Hewitt Memorial Hospital, Shelton. Mrs. Soltesz was born in Hungary and was a Trumbull resident for more than 50 years. She worked for many years with her husband, Joseph, in the J & S Food Store in Devon. She was a member of the Golden Age Club of the First United Church of Christ. She was the widow of Joseph Soltesz. Survivors include one son, Joseph and his wife, Angel Soltesz, of Stratford; two daughters, Susan and her husband, Al Pfannkuch, of Trumbull, and Dian Vince of Trumbull; one sister, Elizabeth Jensco of Bridgeport; 10 grandchildren, Scott, Albert W. and Sean Pfannkuch, Lisa A. Russell, Joseph J. Soltesz, Kym Festa, Karen E. Gusch, Andrea M. Franklin, Georgia and Caraline Vince; five great-grandchildren, Jordan and Kurtiss Gusch, Sarah, Michael and Robert Russell. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, with the Rev. Anthony Szilagyi pastor of the First United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Church of Christ.
