I am neither an Agar nor Somers, but I thought this marriage announcement would be helpful to the people who are either directly descended or otherwise related to this couple. (Please note: "Spring Garden" is now very much a part of the city of Philadelphia. The city was not consolidated until 1854.)

"On the 28th inst., by the Rev. Mr. Gary, Mr. ISAAC Agar, of this city, to Miss AMELIA J. SOMERS, of Spring Garden."
