Depressed because of ill health, MRS. ROY SONDLES, age 40, of Newcomerstown, Tuscarawas county, committed suicide on Monday evening by leaping into 70 feet deep water located in a sand pit at the foot of Clow Avenue.

Mrs. Sondles had suffered a nervous breakdown several months ago and was sent to a sanitorium at Norwalk, then to Massillon, from which she had returned home Saturday.

He leaves a husband and two children to survive her loss.

Lloyd Sondles Of Killbuck, 83
KILLBUCK -- Lloyd E. Sondles, 83 of Killbuck RD #1 died Thursday morning at the home of his son, Donald, in Cuyahoga Falls.
He was born Oct. 14, 1884, in Holmes County of William and Colista Curtis Sondles.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Killbuck Church of Christ.
He was married to Beulah Mohler, who died in September 1965.
Surviving are the son, a daughter, Arline of Killbuck, RD #1; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Mohler of Killbuck RD1; six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home in Millersburg with Rev. Gerald Craycraft officiating.
Burial was in Killbuck.
