My maiden name is Sonnichsen. I am 55 years old, and I live in Lubbock, Texas. My father was Charles Leland Sonnichsen. He lived in El Paso, Texas, but he grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Harvard University with a Ph.D. in English Literature in about 1930. He lived from 1901 until 1991. He taught English at the University of Texas at El Paso for many years and he wrote many books on Southwestern History.
