Eli SONS and Elizabeth CARTER had only 1 son that I know of: James Samuel SONS, b. 1 Dec 1851 and d. 16 Aug 1918. He married Judah BARLOW, b. 3 Feb 1856 and d. 4 Apr 1930. They had 8 children:

3. James Alberta SONS
4. (Baby) SONS
5. Roxia Lola SONS- married Frank ROBERTS
6. Alva Atchison SONS
7. Harry Alvin SONS
8. Lillie Catherine SONS

I don't know where this family lived- all I do know is that the children of Roxie Lola SONS and Frank ROBERTS ended up in Nebraska.
