I do not even know where to start with this but from what I can tell there are two Sons families in the United States. The first family is of French/Spanish descent and based our of Louisiana. Then there is my family which I have an entire book outlining the spread of throughout the U.S. My family is based mostly out of Chicago Heights, IL and Dyer, IN. They were German Catholics who traveled to Chicago Heights in 1854. It is very difficult to trace the descendants now because the the original immigrants had 17 children. Here they are. Henry Sons (1827 - 1906) and Louise Havet (1846 - 1919) came to America in 1854 from Germany. Together they had 17 children, 13 survived to have families themselves. They are:
