Am researching the ancestors and descendants of John Sowden.

May be a connection with John Sowden, Rector of Oakford circa 1600s. He was married to Elizabeth Prescott in 1602 and had a daughter Marie (b.1608) who married Thomas Brooke.

John Sowden and Elizabeth Prescott are my 10th great grandparents.
