Hi! My name is Steve Sowden and while a few quiet moments at work I came across this website on the internet and thought I would send a few words.

I am 34 years of age and work as a journalist on the Yeovil Express newspaper in Yeovil, Somerset, England.

I have always been interested in my family tree, but the Sowden side of it has always been a bit of a mystery. But I think they hail from the Cornwall/Devon area of England.

My grandparents (both deceased) were John and Ivy Sowden and they had three sons Derek, Michael and Richard (whose my dad).

Don't know whether that rings any bells with any of you. I would like to hear from anyone who might be able to help.
