Philadelphia on the ship "Two
Brothers" in late 1749. After several years he ended up in
Rowan County,
North Carolina and married Christianna
Faust. Their eigth child was
Valentine Sowers.
Valentine
Sowers was born on December 10, 1768 and married Ann Maria Eva
Derr (
Darr) on February 14, 1792. Valentine died February 4, 1843. Valentine
Sowers (Jr) was their 8th child.
Valentine
Sowers (Jr) was born February 20 or 29, 1808. He married Elizabeth Long. He died September 1, 1893. Jacob
Matthias Sowers was their 10th child.
Jacob
Matthias Sowers was born on April 4, 1851. He married Permelia
Sellers and later Martha Ann Allen. He died December 28, 1911. Emma
Sowers was the second child of Jacob and Martha.
