Does anyone have any info on Jacob Sowers born about 1800 or 1801 in North Carolina? I think he came out of either Davidson or Iredall Counties in North Carolina. By about 1850 or 1860, he was in the mountains of NC (Yancey County). He is listed in the census with some children and an older lady named Susan, born about 1828. I don't know if this is his daughter or his wife. Can anyone help?
