Hello, Danise!
My name is Tom Sowles and I live in Milton,
Rock County, Wisconsin. I have traced my family
(proven) to Jacob Sowle who is buried next to
his son, Daniel (also Daniel's wife and young
son). These graves are in Jefferson County,
Koshkonong Township (out in the country).

Daniel's son, George Washington Sowle/Sowles, m.
Harriet Dorlinda Secore and eventually sold
their farm to one of their sona and moved to
Milton Junction, Wisconsin (same town, now) where
they died and were buried. One of their son's,
Edward Franklin, m. Harriet Hurd and ended up in
Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin, where Edward passed away
in the early 1900's. Their eldest son, Daniel Clark m.
Martha Myrtle Mohns and they had two sons, George Edward
and Robert. George m. Betty Klingbeil and their eldest son
is me.

Also in Milton, Rock, Wisconsin history is
David Dillingham Sowles. I don't have all of
his information memorized, but have a lot of
information on him.

I first became aware of him by his obit found
among my father's things (containing many obits
for many other family members, mostly Hurds).

I can trace him back to the Mayflower passenger,
but can only find a connection to my Sowles line
at the second generation.

Have you heard of or contacted Soule Kindred?
Have you found any information about the Mayflower
passenger, George Soule?
