I am trying to clarify my family tree. My great-great grandmother was Ethel Pearl Williams (1869-1941), daughter of Sheldon Williams (b. abt 1842) and Mona Eleanor Spaulding (b. 1848), who married in 1863. They also had daughters Myrtie and Daisy listed on the 1870 census in Lagrange county Indiana.

By 1880, Mona had the last name McKee, two additional daughters named McKee, and was widowed (and not living with any husband). However, Sheldon appeared to be remarried to a Mary Adams and has three additional daughters (Lilley, Alma and Neva) in St. Joseph, Michigan.

I hope to determine whether Mona and Sheldon divorced and married others or if Sheldon passed away and the Sheldon I see in Michigan in 1880 is a different man with a similar birth year and location. It is holding me back from being able to take the Sheldon Williams lineage back further.

I'm also trying to determine which McKee was married to Mona Spaulding.
