Hi,

I am looking for information about my great great great grandfather Francis Asbury Spearman. He was born in 1843 in brushy Creek, Anderson County, SC and died in 1876. He was married to Permelia Huddleston. He was a private in Company D 2nd regiment South Carolina Rifles and was wounded in battle of the wilderness. I am wondering if anyone has any more info on him, such as where he is buried. I would love to talk with people that are also related to him.

Anyone that might have information can email me at stargazerchick11@aol.com

Thank you,
Jennifer Spearman La Sante

Re: SPEARMAN Donald E and Wilma L

Donald Evan Spearman was born October 21, 1941 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Fred Oliver Spearman and Bernice SHIRLEY Spearman. Don died on his 61st birthday at home. The cause of death was a heartattack. Wilma is his second wife. Don and his first wife, Linda divorced. They had two daughters, Eve Marie Spearman and Angela "DeDe" Spearman.
Don was my uncle.
My dad, Richard Eugene Spearman just had his DNA tested. We have felt for some time that Fred Spearman's father, Walter Samuel Spearman may have changed his last name. Walter was born June 26, 1883 to Sarah Smith BOZEMAN and William W. BOZEMAN. He is listed as Sarah Boazman's (spelling changes on every single record!)son on the 1900 census, but no last name is recorded for Walter. In 1910, he is listed as Walter Spellman. 1920, 1930 and his WW1 draft he is listed as Walter Spearman. His mother, Sarah Bozeman/Boazman, was living with him in 1920.
My dad's DNA has some close matches ( 11 out of 12 markers) to descendents of William W. Bozeman's brothers.
Walter Spearman was first married to a Jeanne. I don't know if he went by Spearman or Bozeman at that time, but would love to find out more. Jeanne and a child supposedly died sometime before Walter married Elizabeth Eileen Holmes in 1914 in Edmond, OK.
Walter's parents were in Caddo Parrish, LA in 1880. His father died sometime between 1882 and 1900. Walter did not remember his dad's first name in 1917, so I am thinking that William may have died closer to 1882 than 1900.
Walter was born in Bowie, TX. I still don't know if it is the city or the county of Bowie. He grew up in the Gracemont, Caddo County, Oklahoma area. Walter died in Oklahoma March 6. 1969.
Hello George,
I just wanted to let a "spearman" know that an Eleanor Spearman (Estate of), that last used a bank account in 1995 at the CIBC in Hemmingford has (or an heir) $45,081 + $69 in two Unclaimed Balances accounts in the Bank of Canada. Better one of your relatives get it, than the bank. Good luck in your search for her or her heirs. There are 9 Spearman accounts in all but hers is the most significant.
:o) Lyn

They all have middle names, so if you know the middle name and date of death maybe we could find a match.
