I am looking for information on the parents and family of Isaac Spears, born about 1790, in Pilesgrove, New Jersey. He married Bathsheba Steward on 18 Jun 1814 in Salem New Jersey. I have a document showing his death on 5 Jan 1865 in U.P. Neck, Salem, New Jersey. One of their sons, Charles (1823-1874)is my 2nd great grandfather. Charles married Rachel Fisher (1829-1910) 26 Feb 1848. They moved to Macoupin, Illinois where they had a family and lived out their lives.
My records show that Bathsheba was the daughter of Nathan Steward (1768 – 1821) and Rachel Morgan (1760 – 1816).
