Surnames: Speir
As per the Georgia Power Company there are 4 persons known to be buried in the Speir cemetery - Dr. William Henry Speir, Mrs. Melinda Harris Speir, Maude Harris and Henry Harris Speir. They are described as the g-grandfather and grandmother and Gauntt and uncle of the land grantors: Mrs. Harold Williams, sr, Mr. Harold Williams, jr., Mrs. Winifred Ann Williams Proctor (these are described as heirs of Dr. William Henry Speir, etc.) In their original location the graves were unmarked, but with an iron fence around them.
I discovered these graves in 1993 and contacted the GA. power Company who were responsible for the removals. They were very gracious to answer me with this information.
I am descended from John and Rhoda Speir. Henry Clinton was my g-grandfather.
