The Speir Family Cemetery is located in Uniontown on the old home place. There are only five(5) graves:
1. Matilda Speir b. 28 Nov. 1827, d. 21 July 1884 the only known sister of John Speir who never married and is buried on the home place.
2. John Speir b. 17 Sept. 1819 d. 12 April 1883 this is my great-great-great grandfather.
3. Sarah Ann McWhorter Speir b.9 Dec 1830 d. 18 March 1894 the widow of John Speir.
4. Temperance Ulier Speir b. 7 June 1868 d.23 May 1913 Daughter of John and Sarah Speir, married 13 May 1890 to Randolph Comstock
5. Horace Hicks b.5 April 1889 d. 5 April 1889 son of Mary Katherine Speir-Hicks and Dr. Adolphus Andrew Hicks. The grandson of John and Sarah Speir.
If anyone needs more information I have lots of it on my family history.
