Harris Speir

I stumbled across the accoount of Harris Speir's murder several years ago. On a trip to Savannah, GA I went to the library and searched for info. I have copies of the Augusta, GA Gazette dated Nov. 2, 1799 recounting the murders and subsequent ads for sales of land and slaves by Ann Speir, adm'x. From another source: Harris's dates are 1758-1799. Ann is listed as b. 1763- ?. There are 3 children listed. John P. Speir, 1783-1855; James Speir, 1785-? and Harris Speir, 1797- ?. The second Harris married Ann M. Shaw, b. 1802- ?in Columbia Co 1824.
Phillip Speir apparently was a brother of Harris, sr.
I have more family info, some not documented.
I am descended from John and Rhoda Speir. My g-g grandfater was Henry Clinton Speir.
