Benton Speir and wife

Benton Speir was born about 1767. wife Polly ...Polly came to Jones Co., GA inn1812 minus Benton and bought land in her name. Apparently she divorced Benton because she married James Jordan sr. in Clinton countyy seat of Jone Co. in 1816. She must have been quite a business lady, for there are several records of her buying and selling land property.
