A library about 50 miles away from me has The American Genealogist from '32 to about '65 (v. 41). I was there yesterday and looked at "4 Spencer Brothers", which is v. 27 (1951) ps. 79–87, 161-185*, continuing with later generations in v. 58. I never saw the promised discussions of Alice or Agnes.
*I only copied through p. 165 because my connection breaks with William's daughter, Sarah, who married John Case. PM me and I'll try to get you a copy of what I have.
I'm very happy to meet someone else who is interested in documentation. I'm not looking for original source documents, just something solid that can be cited and debated. I'm so frustrated with everyone (myself included) just copying and recopying the same undocumented junk over and over. I swear, I'm sure I could post a pedigree showing that Charlemagne was descended from Larry, Moe and Curly and within a month 20 other people will have copied it. [Flame off]
