Any info re: Spenser families ca 1780 - 1830 near BRINDLE or OLD CHORLEY, Lancashire, England

Seeking any Spenser or Spencer families that lived in the Brindle and Chorley areas of England from 1780 - 1820. My 3x grandparents were supposedly married at the Old Chorley Church in May of 1804 or 1807. John Jackariah Spencer to Elizabeth or Betty Kershaw. The first 6 of their children were baptized at St. James Roman Catholic in Brindle from 1807 to 1816. Church records spell the name Spenser which was the spelling used in one of the US Censuses for their son, Joseph. I really want to know if our name in England was Spencer or Spenser, where we hailed from...are there relation still living in the areas of Brindle or Chorley.

I would very much like to know if we are related to Hugh Spenser who also had children baptized at St. James in Brindle. John Jackariah Spencer did name one of his sons, Hugh, which suggest there may have been a familial relationship between the two families.

Nancy Mary Spenser (Spencer?)

Hello--I'm looking for any information about my great grandmother, Nancy Mary Spenser. She was born in the early 1830's--probably in Ohio. In 1853 she married Henry haynes in Lenawee, Michigan. They had a son who would have been about 5 in 1860. Nancy (Haynes) then married Jacob B. Landis on 1 Jan 1856 in Lenawee, Michigan. In 1860 Nancy and Jacob were living in Williams Co., Ohio, according to the Ohio State Census for 1860. 5 children are llisted--John LANDIS (6 or 7 years), Edward or Henry Haynes, age 5, William , Martin or Marion, and George Edward landis, age 6 1/2 months (my grandfather). apparentlly the last 3 sons were the children of Nancy and Jacob Landis. If anyone has any information about any of these individuals--especially about Nancy Spenser or Jacob B. Landis--please contact me. Thank you so much--Linda Landis Swanson :)
